It is a cooperation of the Central American Association of Aeronautics and Space (CAAE) and the Costa Rica Technology Institute (ITCR).
The payload is a Secondary Onboard Computer (SOBC) which acts as an inertial measurement unit (IMU). The objective of SOBC is to measure the angular velocity, and
linear acceleration of the satellite, as well as the magnetic field surrounding the satellite by implementing integrated arrays of sensors which include: gyroscopes,
accelerometers, and magnetometers. Also an aluminum plate is placed on one of the sides of the CubeSat and another one inside of the spacecraft for fundraising
purposes.
