  • Retired in 1973 from NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) where he had been serving as deputy Director of Program Development's Mission and Payload Planning Office.
  • Served for five years Associate Professor of Aviation Systems at the University of Tennessee Space Institute.
