Mission summary:

Cargo supplies delivery. The vehicle carried more than 890 kg of propellant, including propellant for refueling the combined propulsion system of the Russian Service module Zvezda, which provides the ISS attitude control, as well as 210 kg of water and 1420 kg of dry cargoes, part of which formed Japanese and French hardware and equipment to perform space experiments, kits of flight data files, video and photo equipment. The Expedition Three (ISS-3) crew working aboard the ISS received thermal control systems, medical care items, crew flight-data files and parcels, sanitary-hygienic and water support systems equipment, and food rations (including some fresh/perishable food).

Mission report:

Progress M-45, 7K-TGM No. 245 (the older generation type of Progress) was launched on Aug 21, 2001 at 0924 UTC from Baykonur and docked at 0951 UTC on Aug 23 at the newly vacant port.
The Progress M-45 undocked from Zvezda's rear port on Nov 22 and was deorbited over the Pacific later the same day.
