Cargo spacecraft "Progress M-35"

Mission details:

• Progress M-35 was launched on Jul 5, 1997 at 0411:54 UTC toward the Mir station. It docked with the rear of the 37KE (Kvant) module at 0559:24 UTC on Jul 7 using the automatic Kurs system. (The Progress M-34 also docked successfully using this system; it was only when they tried testing the new manual system that things went wrong).
• Progress M-35 undocked from Mir at 1146 UTC on Aug 06 to clear the docking port.
• Progress M-35 successfully redocked with Mir at 12:53 UT on August 18. The Mir computer crashed just before the docking, and the station drifted out of attitude, causing the Progress automatic docking system to shut down; however, commander Solovyov completed the docking by manual remote control. The computer was repaired by August 19.
• An attempt to undock Progress M-35 from the Kvant module on October 5, 1997 failed when a clamp was inadvertently left attaching Progress M-35 to Kvant. After clearing the problem Progress M-35 successfully undocked at 12:03 UT on October 07.
• PM-35 deorbited at 16:41 UTC and fell in the Pacific at 17:23 UTC.
