SpaceX carried out its 6th Iridium-Next deployment mission on Jan 01, 2019.
Ten satellites were deployed into initial orbits which will later be raised by the satellites′ own propulsion systems.
Deployment of the Iridium Next constellation was completed on Jan 11, 2019 when a Falcon 9 launch from Vandenberg placed the final 10 satellites in orbit. The Falcon 9 first stage, B1041, landed successfully on the JRTI droneship. The second stage was deorbited near Antarctica.
