The Unity 22 mission took off from Spaceport America on Jul 11, 2021 at 1443 UTC. The carrier plane VMS Eve, flying at 14.1 km altitude, dropped the VSS Unity spaceplane at 1525 UTC over 107.0W 33.2N. Two seconds later Unity fired its hybrid rocket engine for a 60 second burn with a cutoff velocity of 0.98 km/s. Unity reached space at D+2:02 (2 min 2s after drop); at D+2:39 it reached an apogee of 86.2 km above sea level. It dropped below 80 km at D+3:14 and glided to landing back at Spaceport America at D+14:19 (touchdown), with wheels stop at D+15:14. The exact drop time tothe second is not yet available.
