Duration Explanation
20 Nov 2008 - 6h 45m Kimbrough and H.Stefanyshyn-Piper; Relocating two equipment carts, setting the stage for the installation of the starboard S6 truss (scheduled for February 2009). The spacewalkers also lubricated the end effector, or hand, of the Canadarm2, the station's robotic arm. They also continued lubricating the starboard SARJ and replacing trundle bearings.
24 Nov 2008 - 6h 07m Kimbrough and S. Bowen; Removing several thermal covers on the port SARJ. Kimbrough lubricated the port SARJ, while Bowen reinstalled the thermal insulation covers (removed on first EVA) on Kibo. He then installed two GPS antennas on Kibo's logistics module, while Kimbrough installed a new TV camera on the truss.
06 Jan 2017 UT 6h 32m Kimbrough and P.Whitson; mission ISS-Exp.
The astronauts installed adapter plates and hooked up electrical connections for three of six new lithium-ion batteries.
13 Jan 2017 UT 5h 58m Kimbrough and T.Pesquet; mission ISS-Exp.
The astronauts installed adapter plates and hooked up electrical connections for the final three of six new lithium-ion batteries .
24 Mar 2017 UT 6h 34m Kimbrough and T.Pesquet; mission ISS-Exp.
Main objective was to prepare the PMA-3 for installation of the second IDA. They disconnected cables and electrical connections on PMA-3 to prepare for its robotic move. The spacewalkers also installed on the starboard zero truss (ITS) a new computer relay box equipped with advanced software for the adapter.
They lubricated the latching end effector on the Canadarm2 robotic arm, inspected a radiator valve suspected of a small ammonia leak and replaced cameras on the Japanese segment of the outpost.
30 Mar 2017 UT 7h 04m Kimbrough and P.Whitson; mission ISS-Exp.
This spacewalk featured the astronauts reconnecting cables and electrical connections on PMA-3 at its new home on top Harmony. They also installed the second of the two upgraded computer relay boxes on the station′s truss and installed shields and covers on PMA-3 and the now-vacant common berthing mechanism port on Tranquility.
16 Jun 2021 UT 7h 15m Kimbrough and T.Pesquet; mission ISS-Exp.65
They installed the first array on the far end of the left (port) side of the station′s backbone truss structure (P6) to upgrade the 2B power channel.
20 Jun 2021 UT 6h 28m Kimbrough and T.Pesquet; mission ISS-Exp.65
The duo worked on the far end of the left (port) side of the station′s backbone truss structure (P6) to deploy, or unroll, the first of two ISS Roll Out Solar Arrays (iROSAs) that will augment power capability for the port 6 truss′ 2B power channel. Before the new array can be deployed and begin providing power to the orbiting laboratory, the two needed to install the electrical cables and drive the final two bolts to enable the solar array to unroll it into its fully laid-out position.
25 Jun 2021 UT 6h 45m Kimbrough and T.Pesquet; mission ISS-Exp.65
The spacewalkers installed the second solar array to upgrade the 4B power channel on the P6 truss.
