Half scale mockup of the ETS 8 deployable antenna. It was manufactured by Toshiba. A camera was installed to check the deployement. It was attached to the ASAP 5 structure. The 6 m antenna was deployed 40 minutes after launched and later jettisoned.

The experiment was a success: it properly reported that deployment mecanism does not work!
